Who is the best species in skyrim

This is due to their natural affinity with all kinds of weapons, and their Adrenaline Rush skill that can be used to swiftly regenerate Stamina to block, spam power attacks, or zoom in with their bows.

At least they make for awesome vampires. Imperials are an ideal race for those who like to play with a shield equipped, as they start with extra points in One-Handed, Shield, and Enchanting. You can also use their racial skill, Voice of the Emperor, to either heal yourself, reset aggro, reposition, or flee, it always works on people and it deletes aggro for 60 seconds, making it a very useful tool. If nothing else, being an Imperial is nice in Skyrim because you get access to Voice of the Emperor, which pretty much pacifies all humanoid threats around you for a full minute once a day.

The Wood Elf or the Bosmer can make for the most dangerous stealth archers in Skyrim, which are not to be messed with. If you like sneaking about and solving your problems from afar, the Bosmer is a great option for a race in Skyrim. If you prefer to have a little variety in your gameplay, then you might want to try a different race. The Red Guard has access to the Adrenaline Rush ability, which allows them to restore massive amounts of stamina for 60 seconds, basically allowing players to keep on charging with their power attacks and blocking attacks for a full minute with little to no repercussions.

Outside of the bonuses in Destruction and Alteration, Red Guard gets Archery, One-Handed, Blocking, and Smithing bonuses, which make them great melee warriors with a little bit of archery flair. Also, the great thing about the Orc in Skyrim is that all of their bonuses are meant to make them great warriors. If you want to play as a sneaky destructive combat mage that can also do a lot of damage from afar, then the Dunmer or Dark Elf is the race for you.

If your goal is to fling spells all-day long, playing the Altmer or High Elf in Skyrim is for you. While the Wood Elf might still make for better archers, no other race in Skyrim makes for more lethal killers. The most common race to find outside of Nords, Imperials are a bit of a mixed bag.

On the one hand, they have some nifty abilities, but their skills leave a lot to be desired. First off, Voice of the Emperor is a great ability, essentially calming all nearby humanoid enemies once per day for 60 seconds. Being beset by a dozen guards or angry bandits is a very common problem in Skyrim , and Voice of the Emperor solves it every time.

Imperial Luck also means you find more gold than anyone else, and gold is always great to have. But again, Imperials have a mixed bag of skills that seem a little directionless. High Restoration, Destruction, and Enchanting seem to make for a decent mage, but then you also have One-Handed, Heavy Armor, and Block that steer you more towards a fighter.

The first of the true mage races, Bretons are easily the worst of them simply because Conjuration was never a particularly potent magical tree to climb. To be fair to the Bretons, none of the magical schools were all that powerful, but Conjuration was just bad. Things get a little better when you look at their abilities. Now, if you want to play a real combat mage, then Dunmer is the class for you. They start with 25 to Destruction, meaning you can fling fireballs as soon as you can find the tome for them, and you also get Alternation, Illusion, Sneak, and Light Armor to round out your skills.

Your abilities are a little less exciting. Ancestral Wrath is pretty good when you start the game, dealing 8 damage per second to everything around you, but by level 30 that damage is basically nothing.

Most of the magic damage you face in the game is fire based, what with dragons most often breathing fire, so taking half as much fire damage is a real boon.

Or maybe you're into that. I don't judge. Ahh, Red Guard, the most racially charged race in Skyrim. Their dark skin gives them the Adrenaline Rush ability, massively restoring your stamina for 60 seconds.

Your skills are also great too. Archery, One-Handed, Blocking, and Smithing are a great spread for starting out, and Destruction and Alteration are useful too, if a little off-message. Honestly, being a Redguard is all about Adrenaline Rush anyway - that skill is the tits. Orcs get everything in the Warrior Tree and some Enchanting, so if you want to make a big, scary magic sword and wield it early, then Orsimer is the race for you.

Second, Berserker Rage.
